When the nights struck long and dark, only mere fireflies lit up the night sky. Dragons came to this place to die, and that is where she had died as well. Abandoned by all, she grieved and passed. And as her spirit resided with the rest, her soul began to shrine brighter than the bugs that kept only dim lights. From the night Athame had rose, a lonesome dragon had come to give into the sorrows of their past. There she stood, her gentle light bringing the hope back into the eyes of all who beheld her.

Her beloved friends that roamed the forest as spirits along side her had became her guides, and together they watched over the lands as the seasons passed. Taking care of dragon after dragon, accepting the offerings, and blessing the wishes for those who asked. Athame is the kindest of the spirits, her smile is as bright as her light. She was proclaimed the deity by the first beginning resident, and there she became the pillar of hope to everyone within this forest.

Athame’s kind attitude seems to keep her known as the gentle deity of the forest, her fireflies giving off warm glows around the shrine the residents had built her in hopes it’d please her. She deeply cherishes her shrine, and every dragon who sees her as someone important and special.
