Shadexine

Shadexine came into this lair hissing and growling lowly at Faerie ,he was a fae male and shadexine saw him as a threat. Faerie was shy and timid in nature , and was much smaller than Shadexine and he cautiously backed away from her , he kept his distance from her , any time he greeted Shadexine with "hey!! how are you!?" Is his high excited voice , a keen eye for new friends was in the fae but Shadexine didn't see it that way and loudly would respond "ikc! I feeling sick just looking at you!! Ick ick !! Come closer come closer and i may kick!" it was up to Avina the guardian female to interviene. Avina was a guardian and a proud one , by nature she would not allow threats to exist within the lair. None under her watchful wings would but heads

Avina had asked the questions during the sipping tea and interview , "honeyyy what's wrong come telllll me alllll about ittt" her voice hung to certain letters longer than the sound should but it was a rather soothing and caring presence.

Shadexine had opened up within that moment , all at once and curling under Avina's mighty wing.

Shadexine had been bred by the original lair she knew , and quite ruthlessly felt that she was being used. Many different males , some she didn't get the name of some who's name she forgot naturally and others who just didn't make much of an impression on her. So many hatchlings and ... Yet , she was unable to bond with any of them . Sometimes she didn't see the hatchlings for more than a day before they were taken away to be exalted? Sold? Adopted into a new lair? She didn't know , she didn't know if they were taken because of her actions , she thought maybe she did something wrong and they were given new much better homes...

That's why she hated all male dragons , she didn't want to be hurt ever again by them at all. Too many times she had fallen into the trap of thinking they were dedicated to her , and having experienced so many times the cycle of a new hatchling bringing the male reason to simply sniff at it and leave , yelling at her and argument was common treatment when she was a younger dragon. But no more.

She swore to herself so many times to never again let that happen and trample her heart.

But then , in this lair she found a pleasant male , and he was ... Strangely calming to her , he always lent a warm wing if she wanted a warmer night of sleep , she always seemed to miss him when he was gone and ... She fell into feelings for him.

Her and he had a great understanding of eachother , communication was effective and more so , he even listened to her about how she wasn't sure if she could be close to her hatchlings and the concern of that causing a rift like it had done so many times with previous dragon males.

But he huffed. He comforted her and nuzzled himself closer to her and assured her he wouldn't allow it and that he would continue to hold reason within any expectations he had of her.

And suddenly the premise of raising little hatchlings with him didn't seem so bad anymore ...

Blinkt was a nocturne male and shorter than her , which is why she felt that he was very endearing and cute and she still does. But he was so open with his compliments to her and easily could say he loved her like it was a breath of fresh magic to him. She smiled and one day invited for another snuggle session , their usual routine but that's when she told him

"Blinkt I love you ! Eek! Eek!! Hatchlings hatchlings and hear them speak!! Ours ours and ..... Maybe .........stuck on rhyme!"

He smiled and was overjoyed but she felt more so like she belonged to this lair, a home for her.
And she did have extreme joy at the fact that this time she was being assertive and starting to ask for hatchlings and that felt so good to not be pressured into it and making it her choice. She smiled as she felt her stomach warm against his , and with a happy grin began to count the days until little egg of love and care may hatch and look up at them both

"With tiny claws and tiny eyes , smiles little hatchling so don't be surprised" said blinkt to her as she rested and fell asleep, a little more flustured than usual because he had copied and mimiced her rhyming habit .
