Farant is the overseer of the nightmare. One might assume this duty makes him grim, serious, and perhaps a bit harsh or cruel. He's quite the opposite. Farant is very loving, a jokester to his core, and a bit squeamish. He works with his sister Azazel to maintain and control the nightmare.

Farant is able to switch back and forth between male and female at will. They prefer their female form, but on occasion, they feel male.

This one needs to be a subspecies of some sort. I just don't know which one. Or perhaps it can be an experiment of some sort? I'll figure it out. Either way, it is not quite a dragon.

When in the nightmare they are contained in a special chamber that allows them to become a cloud of eyes. This allows them to maintain a constant visual of the nightmare and can therefore allow them to keep control of the horror scape they are in charge of.

Unlike Minuette and Val, Farant and Azazel fight like cats and dogs. Though they are siblings and they both love each other very much, they bicker all of the time. It was for this reason that their parent assigned both to oversee the nightmare. It was their hope that the shared responsibility would tame their need to argue. It has worked somewhat to temper their tantrums with each other, but really it hasn't helped much. They do put their disagreements on hold for the sake of their duty, which both are very proud to have. When they do work together on the nightmare the partnership is fluid and agreeable with no argument heard. After work, however... 		518.png
