Biography
Possibly a new Jun
Getting to know Jun is easy, his polite mannerisms and gentle tipping of his top hat as a greeting makes him one of the most courteous dragons most others have ever met. He speaks like an old man, his slang is the kind that was in use during the late 1800s, and he has never bothered to catch up with the younger dragons around him. Despite that, most see this dragon as an elderly grandfather figure, someone to turn to for advice and help. Often, Jun is happy to help his younger clanmates. He is known for listening to everyone that approaches him with their problems, nodding sagely as they speak. He is content to be the clan’s eldest, wisest member.
Not many dragons know of the other side of this ancient being. Trapped inside his rotting flesh is a young child. He can spend hours releasing the pent-up energy that stores itself in his bones as he speeds across the darkened valleys of the Shadowlands. His youthful self is reborn every now and then, often calling through the trees for his friends to come join him. His laughter echoes, even in the darkest of caverns, as his body reacts to the child trapped inside of him.
Jun’s sage ways and childhood spirit leave little to be desired in the way of friendship, he can meet almost anyone and offer them something. However, he has always longed for someone who can help him in return. Jun is not a creature that can be understood with ease, he barely understands anything about himself.
All Jun knows is that he cannot remember where he came from before joining the clan. His memory is blank, and when he reaches for it in the depths of night, nothing comes back to him except an empty and hollow feeling that will trail him into the next day. He laments his lost memories to himself, rarely revealing how little he knows about himself to other dragons, letting them believe that he remembers days that their parents would struggle to remember.
He supposes that it is a curse that comes with his advanced age, one that he cannot shake no matter how hard he tries. The curses he carries are heavy on him, but his lack of memory isn’t a particular problem until he thinks about it. His other, more obvious curse, is the fact that his flesh is dropping from his bones as he moves.
Jun’s scales began dropping off, then it was swathes of his skin, and now, after many years of trying to fix it, it has begun to take larger and larger parts of him. He recalls nothing of how it began, or why it seems impervious to any of the medicine he has been offered. Instead, he finds himself sloughing off skin and scales as he moves; he has come to accept that his lair will always be covered in parts of him, which is why he can be found cleaning his lair before anyone else is invited over to meet him.

A sweet personality
A youthful sprint
Yet a dark secret and mystery lie with him
He spread his wisdom for others
Yet
He had none for himself
Jun
He was the ancient statue that fell slow
The rubble crumbled below him
But he kept going
He would until the embrace of death does take him
