Tyrande was abandoned by her parents due to her odd appearance, a week since her birth to die in the harsh weather or starvation. As a hatchling, she didn't know how to hunt for herself nor defend herself. Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours, hours to days, the young one was managing to survive but her fire was dying. Time had passed before she was found by a hunting patrol who were led by an imperial that glowed like the moon. They took her in and raised her to be the intelligent huntress she is today. But even today, she goes to the imperial for advice and lessons, knowing that her mentor and clan leader would kindly tell her the things she needed to know.

Tyrande is now the ambassador to the Ice Flight of her clan. Outside of helping her clanmates in hunting, she and her leaders lead their dragons to their new homes in the Ice Flight.
