Crowley

A product of the Arcanist bringing about the return of the Shade during the Third Age, these dragons—if you can still call them that—are more canine than drake. Many believe it was the Shade who turned these dragons into their current form, the darkness dying their bodies pitch black and turning their eyes blood red.

Gifted with unnatural speed and strength, these...creatures, widely referred to as Hellhounds, are extremely dangerous, threatening even the weakest Imperials. Paired with their dark coloring and tendency to lurk in darkness, Hellhounds are gifted hunters. It is believed if a dragon encounters one, they are sure to perish.

Crowley is the first known Hellhound to be both sapient and sentient. However, even he cannot fight his instincts, but he struggles to fight the Shade infecting his body and mind. As a result Crowley leads a solitary life, with the burden of what he is weighing down on him. He hopes one day he can integrate into dragon society without being feared.
