Delegate of The Sisterhood

One night, a curious light at the horizon caught Shanzar's attention. It was the light of a green lantern held by a bony bird most likely from the Plague territories, flying around a weak, little hatchling collapsed on the ground after a long journey from the Tangled Wood.
The nameless dragon was soon brought to the Lair and fed.
Little to nothing was known of Pearlcatcher dragons and her attachment to that pearl-like or was seen as quite a curious behaviour, earning her the name "Pearl" among the clan.
The Hazebeacon Bird never left her side.

She's grown up to be a wise, eccentric and mystic lady, with a great attunement to magic. She currently holds the role of Sage and Lorekeeper, collecting every story each dragon has to tell from their past and giving advice to anyone who seeks it. She's became quite an important figure among the dragons of the Lair, if not essential.

"Our stories make us who we are"
She loves to carve out all the clan's lore on the surface of the peaks in the Crystalspine Reeches where the Clan has its roots, decorating them with geometrical figures and patterns too.

The Clan has grown and while there is a blossoming community of dragons living together, food is getting scarcer each day. Hunters are desperate, for more food is consumed than they can provide during the gathering sessions.
Shanzar and Idunna are worried about the Clan's future.

"We ought to leave the Crystalspine Reaches" I said in a severe tone.
Shanzar agreed with a nod, while Idunna lowered her head. Those lands were full of lovely memories and she was saddened to leave everything behind.
"Don't be sad, dear. There'll be plenty of 'em in the days to come" Shanzar gently put his little paw over Idunna's to reassure her.
So the exodus began. The whole clan packed up their belongings and moved as a single body through the land and the sky, until a new, promised land appeared on thir sight.
"Clanmates, this is our new home!" Shanzar announced, climbing on a tree "Starwood Strand!"

"I think congratulations to your fabulous cartographer are in order" added Flynn as a sidenote.

GRAND OPENING! The Circle of the Ancients pub is now open for business.
"'Tis quite small" declares Nohr, owner of the little pub "but I assure you Litill and I did our best to turn the ol' cave the cozies corner of the OC"
"The coziest indeed!" proudly remarks Litill.
Word to Stealtor, the Gaoler giant guarding the Circle's Entrance.
"Guarding? Fancy word. I'm more of a living carpet. Keeping the place warm 'n fuzzy while I get free drinks from the house"

A pair of mysterious strangers started to appear around the Outer Circle: a brownish Coatl closely followed by a Runescar Lynx and a black Mirror wearing a flawlessly crafted paper mask.
According to Stealtor, they both seem to be the troublemaker sort of dragons but they effectively keep each other from causing any serious mess while wandering around the Clan.
"They know more than what they say" I affirmed, keeping an eye on the odd pair.
"As long as they don't cause trouble, they're welcome" concluded Idunna, nodding "After all, they seemed to have already won the sympathy of Kim's little science group"

A thundering earthquake shook everyone in the Star Wood Strand awake. According to Thyr, the general direction from where the tremor originated is Dragonhome. No further details are known about the accident.

Tyhr, the clan's best (and only) geologist signed a contract with Arlo to dig at the Thunder Lizards digsite! He's so exited he can't wait to get his hands dirty.
"MY CALLING!" he exclaimed, dramatically raising his front paws "HAS BEEN ANSWERED!"

"And who are you?" asked the Coatl Doctor, resting his muzzle on the handle of his umbrella.
"Gafrac?" he answered, puzzled "I'm a cyborg"
Cold disapproval flashed from the stranger's eyes before he answered.
"Ah, yes, this is how it starts herrre" he said in a deep tone.
"What?"
"Everrry reality, everry universe, everrrrrywhere there's people there are Cybermen brrooding in their shadows"
"No, really, I'm only a tech enthusiast"
But the stranger just waved his hat and walked away.

Ankr, eldest son of the pub owners, paid a visit to a friendly clan in Dragonhome and inspected their construction sites - partly to investigate on the recent earthquake, partly for his personal enjoyment.

During the same day, local healer Summers reported to Idunna an increasing rate of an overnight gene mutations on full-grown dragons - to her surprise, both clan Progens already knew since the same thing recently happened to Shanzar.
I have no recorded history of a similar phenomenon. Forest, the Eldritch Enchanter, denied any involvement having swore an oath to never work on living beings.

A most peculiar... situation has been reported from the Outer Circle: Artyr just woke up from his slumber changed into a two headed aberration.
Summer's examination concluded there weren't any side effects to this transformation, the dragon is still in perfect health condition except for his mind now split into what appears to be now two distinct individuals each carrying over different aspects of their original personalities.

However, Idunna reported Callie as missing for two days. Raisha was last seen going into hybernation, but her place was found empty. Some of the hatchlings went missing. Other dragons kept waking up with their genes mutated.
The Inner Circle is pondering to declare a state of emergency.

The Coatl Doctor shed some light on the earthquake situation: apparently it was this "Magister" fella trying to summon an army of Obelisk dragons through a complex underground ritual, possibly an attempt to keep the Earth Flight on one of the top three places in the Dominance standings for the third week in a row.
The Doctor assures he'd thwarted his plans, although no one has ever seen Magister since.
However, another dragon called "Le Maitre" with a striking resemblance to Magister has joined the clan, although with all those paper masks no one is completely sure.
The Coatl Doctor seemed to be highly dismissing of any claims about him and "Magister" being the same individual.

An old warehouse has been "converted" into a small laboratory by Kimyogar and his little gang of science enthusiasts.
"Yeah, yeah right, it's a bit rough at the moment. We're still decorating and bringing in all our equipment" said Kim "but on the bright side, now I can say 'don't do this at home' without being an hypocrite!"

The mystery surrounding all recent gene and breed mutations has been solved at last: a dragon going by the name "Le Maitre" has been caught red-handed changing Xarathea's breed from a Fae to an exotic Obelisk while she was sleeping. However, he didn't take into account the remarkable size difference between the two species and got struck under her new body ten times longer and far more heavier than before.
"You fool! You're crushing me!" he shouted, while the dragoness woke up and realised whatever happened was a bit more than just falling off her
floating bed.
Idunna called an emergency meeting of all Circles representatives in order to discuss his fate.

At the Eve of the Mistral Jamboree, a breeze of change blew among the Circles of the Bohemian Star:

- A new role has been appointed to representitives from all Clan areas: Delegate.
As Idunna and Shanzar will still be Head of Clan, so I will remain head and Delegate of the Sisterhood.
Flynn and Najima have been appointed Delegate and Assistant Delegate for the main area of the Outer Cicle.
Zahri and Neera hold now the same title for the Neon Star.
Litill will answer as Delegate for the Ancients.
Kimyogar has been reluctanctly appointed Delegate of his think tank.

- The Mutation Crisis has been declared over with the capture of Le Maitre, alias currently held by the dragon previously known as Magister.
The trial has been concluded with an interesting turn of events: the Magister's way of introducing new changes to the Clan's gene pool as opposed to interbreeding with new members has been recognised and taken into cosideration as a future legitimate option, partly thanks to the Coatl Doctor's insight on this Tissue Mutation Generator device.
Its inventor, however, has been exiled to the Scarred Wasteland for causing distress among the Clan members.

- Summers' excellent performance as a medical assistant during the crisis has earned her a place among the Sisterhood with the title of Sun Healer. May she be of an example to any future applicant.

Vidrel's Workshop of Wonders, recently opened after its owner moved here from the Wind territories, has rapidly got to be a favourite spot in the Neon Star. It won't be long until colourul glassworking will become one of the most distinctive features of the area.

Ankr's been working on this project for a while - converting an old courtyard next to his parent's pub into a sports centre or "something like that", as he said. He only showed interest in the actual contruction process though, as Litill took over the bureaucracy of actually running and managing it.
Today, the Prismatic Chargers Sports Club is open to public! Tiger's parents, a couple of sports professionals from the Fire Flight, were hired to take care of it and its newly recruited team of players.

Teams from all friendly neighbouring clans are gathering at the sports centre to compete in the all-new PAWBALL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Pawball is a game where dragons use their paws and tail to hit a leather ball and a point is scored when they manage to get it through the opponent's field ring, magically suspended into air.
Despite being a relatively new sport, five other teams joined the locals for the championship.

Shar coordinated the whole setting up of the sports centre and all helping dragons worked tirelessly for days. Tickets for the gallery are already sold out.
An accord has been negotiated with a neighbouring Plague clan so Magister could lend their knowledge of dragon resizing so to make the game fair for everyone regardless of their breed.
Shyre and Gyll perfectioned the jetpack system for Snapper dragons. With Kim not being involved, this time shouldn't explode mid-flight.

Everyone is excited for this huge event and I am no exception.

Games are over and foreign clan's players are going home, some with prizes but all with good memories from the lovely times spent together.
I am pleased with how this resolved. New friends were made along the way.

Thyr's hard work at Arlo's has been rewarded with a new contract. Ankr and Artyr from the Ancients often help him out bringing back samples from our friends at Dragonhome.

The locally-constructed Tissue Mutation Generator replica, based on the original prototype from the exiled Magister, has malfunctioned greatly over the course of this morning and finally broke down at noon. Only the general morale at Kim's lab got injured.
Despite being the dragon most familiar with the technology in the entire Clan, the Coatl Doctor seemed to not be able to fix it beyond some temporary patch-ups.
It was then decided to recall his friend, as he calls him, from his exile in the Plague territories.

"My dear, words cannot express how pleased I am to work alongside you once more" he said, carefully getting around the TMG's circuitery under the Coatl's watchful eyes "the Wandering Contagion is a fascinating place, but any attempt of conversation with its inhabitants is... rather limited"

The rest of their conversation couldn't be transcribed as it was carried over in an unfamiliar language exclusively shared among those two specific dragons.

This is a sad day for the Clan's musical history, as the legendary Bard Vermillion just publicly announced after his 2-months hiatus from any new composition that he had decided to put down his harp for good.
"I haven't felt joy in playing my instrument since last year. When I realised my passion had become a repetitive chore of the same notes, I felt in need of a change in my tune. Try something new, you see"
"Any clue on what'll be your next "tune"?" I asked, while carving this very set of runes on the Crystal.
"Not yet. But I'm thrilled to find out"

A mysterious pearl was brought by Thyr from his latest archaeological contract, the Deepsea Dive dig site. Apparently harmless, he gifted it a Reeve since her passion for blue items is very well known in the Outer Circle, just to use an euphemism.
As she woke up with her mantle profoundly changed to match the swirling pattern of the Pearl, it was obvious its nature was not the same of those you'd find in a clamp.

A hatchling came to life in Reeve and Andrey's nest, apparently not coming from a laid egg but spawned from the Pearl itself. Kimyogar asked the couple to temporarly lend him the mysterious artifact for a closer examination. May the Arcanist watch over us all for what those fools are going to bring on us.

An ancient, primorial magic was awakened by the the lab's clumsy meddling with the Deepsea Artifact. It manifested as a spectral swarm of dragons with long, elongated body much similar to those of the Spirals. They danced over the leaves of the Starwood, before scattering around and disappearing. Some of the dragons awoke from the sleeping wards to see the ethereal creatures, but two of them were struck by those spirits as they were swimming away through the air.
Summer assures Raspin and Vidalya are in perfect heath condition, just shocked by their sudden change in appearence into those ancient forms we've all just witnessed.
How long will it take for those fools to realise their meddling with the unknown is only going to bring us misfortune, I wonder...

It's that time of the year when fishing gets remarkably bountiful in the seas south of our Clan. Yazaaniah called for any help he could gather from Ridgebacks, Coatls and any other willing fish-eating dragon.
A wise call from him, as resource gathering have been dissappointingly scarce lately.
I wonder if it's a bad omen...

Another bad omen: no more hatchlings are seeing their first light while within the bounds of the Starwood Strand. The eggs don't hatch nor even mature: they seem to have been spontaneously enchanted to stay as frozen.
It is a Clan-wide phenomenon, as both a case from the Inner Circle and Outer Circle have been brought to my attention. At first I thought it was a case of the rare eggrot, I'm not sure to be glad to be wrong.
I've consulted Sarie along with Xarathea and Cyberspace, the first couple to have brought this incident to my attention, and most of what I know so far on the subject has come from her foretelling.
The Coatl Doctor confirmed it to be some matter with the flow of time, despite no one asking their opinion.

I begin this entry with a eulogy of audacity in today's youth. Mitha came to the Sisterhood this morning, bringing her concern for the current situation and her willingness to help uncover the truth behind this dreadful curse, so that it can ultimately be recorded as a past event.
Alas, she asked me if I could teach her the way of the runes so she could annotate her findings during the investigation. I nodded with a sigh, and with a smile of compassion I explained to her that the runes are a sacred art imbued with magic, just as powerful as they are dangerous. It takes a talented magician with years of expertise to carve them safely; they are not child's play.
Carving the runes without the required care and expertise will cause forgetfulness in the dragon's mind, their memory will wither and soon their ability to learn and think critically will follow. Truth comes from one's own knowledge, experience, insight, and judgment. Relying solely on written mentions is merely pretend wisdom.
I trust with all my heart that dear Mitha will treasure my words and will not be foolish, for I have told her she should start her investigation by asking questions to the lab's members
