She was never an egg. She was a statue carved of bone and stone and the flesh of the Plaguelands and at some stage a shadow necromancer (unrelated to my clan, but shadow for the purple opal) decides to use the magic of her being made of the flesh of the Plaguelands and their own magic to wake her up, so to speak
