Paradise

Uh-oh, looks like this bright Wildclaw wandered a little too far from their home lair (469133, Logchamp), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, they’d really appreciate it if you could just return them to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but they would be very grateful!

Paradise had only been traveling a short time, their path leading them from parents who had traveled to serve the deities, into the tangling expanse of Wanderweg Wood. Lost, distressed, the Wildclaw found himself stumbling upon a Guardian with scales like sunlight...like their own.

"Er...excuse me," Paradise clears his throat, shifting from one leg to the other, staring about in a rather twitchy manner, "I was...I was wondering if you could direct me out of this...endless forest?"

The Guardian turns, her expression amused, one brow arching up lightly, "Oh? You must be new then. I'd be happy to escort you out, though I need to finish my harvesting first."

"...harvesting?" Paradise wrings his hands together, willing his body to stop dueling itself over fight and flight.

"Yes," she dips her head and leans past him to gather some mushrooms he had scarcely paid attention to, "I gather many of my own ingredients, whether in the garden or in the wilds. It's a valuable skill to have," her scales brush gently against his flank and he finds himself leaning into the touch.

It's just been so long since he was around dragons willing to snuggle...and Paradise's twitchiness is always...more tolerable once he gets to snuggle...

And somehow this dragon picks up on it, her tail gently coiling around to tuck behind him, shepherding him along. And without even knowing her name, he finds himself wandering along like a lost lamb, helping her pick up the plants she points out, and telling her about his travels. In a few short hours, he finds himself back at the cottage she runs for travelers just like him...and in a few short days, he finds himself staring down at three eggs that are as twitchy as he is.
