Biography
WIP:
Don't let his intimidating appearance fool you. He doesn't take himself seriously, and he's always looking for a good time. Playful, kind, and sly. He makes friends where ever he goes.
—
Former border patrolman. Amosite gave up that life of restricting rules in favor of the open road. He's been to all four corners of the world, but no matter how far he wanders his feet always bring him back home to the Abiding Boneyard.
He fell into his current occupation by accident. He had been having a merry old time in Carrion Canyon when he came across a little fae who had bitten off more than they could chew in the form of a Livewire Grizzly nest. Amosite is a sucker for cute things, and an even bigger sucker for a good fight, so he hadn't hesitated to jump in. With a new pocketful of bear teeth, Amosite led the fae to the exit. Before they parted ways the fae turned to him with a feverish gleam and asked if he would still be here by next week. A herd of Thunderstomp rhinoceros would be migrating through and they wanted to get a bushel of tail hairs. I can pay you, said the fae, opening their rucksack to reveal a pouch full of glittering gems bigger than Amosite's claws.
Getting paid to beat up the wildlife is an excellent deal to someone who would ordinarily do it for free.
Only catch was that he had to bring the fae with him, so they could see the herd in person. Amosite, despite his solitary lifestyle, liked company, so it was not a hardship at all.
The fae was a chatty one, and spread tales of the kind mirror who helped them. From there he soon had plenty of people asking him to take them to dangerous locales, escort them through rough terrain, and collect animal parts.
He's never been happier.
