Twinstrike

A sentient goo monster in the vague shape of a dragon that emerged from the Wyrmwound one night during Riot of Rot. The creature lingered with the Direclaw Clan for a while before returning to the Wyrmwound. Upon their return from the Wyrmwound, they had grown a second head out of the slime. Clan Direclaw happily accepted them back. Slargs seem drawn to this creature. Beastkeeper nicknamed the creature Twinstrike.

Creature from the Wound

Beastkeeper watched the unknown mass at the shore of the Wyrmwound with a mix of awe and horror. The vaguely Mirror-shaped sludge beast had crawled its way onto land, and looked like it was barely holding together. It reminded her a great deal of the sentient oozes that occasionally resulted from some of Fuilmeath's experiments, that she usually ended up caring for. Pulling a piece of dried jerky from a satchel, she slowly approached, holding out the meat with one paw. If she was lucky, she could tame it and bring it back to the clan for further study. After some uncertainty, the slime beast snapped up the jerky with vaguely draconic jaws (though no bones were visible), and followed her home.

Returning Home

The sludge beast had lingered with Clan Direclaw for just over two years. Two peaceful years. But, in the end, even it could not ignore the call back to the Wyrmwound. Making its way back to the Wyrmwound, the beast slipped into the pool of contagion like a drop of rain into the sea. From the shoreline, Beastkeeper watched, awestruck, as the slime beast emerged again, this time changed and altered. It was more solid now, although still sludge. Two, defined heads now branched out from a single shared body. The still very dragon-shaped slime beast followed Beastkeeper home a second time.
