Biography

MOLDER
SKULKER || INTRUDER || PROTECTOR
Age: Adult | Pronouns: He/Him

Feisty Poison Rotting Leather Glass Knife
Born in the Wandering Contagion of the Scarred Wasteland, Molder gave credit where credit was due. The Plaguebringer’s teachings were what raised him, and what eventually sent him out into the world, hoping to further her message of death and decay to her deadly enemy. With his parent’s blessings, Molder searched far and wide for a place to strike, before eventually coming across the Everbloom Gardens. Unlike the general ideas of skydancers, Molder had poisonous ambition. There, Molder attempted to strike—only to be cut down by Aesop, the defender of Autumna Woods.

It took many years for Molder to heal from his wounds and injured pride, only returning recently to Autumna Woods to extract revenge. However, instead of finding the fierce, battle-scarred opponent he remembered, he found a kindly father who had turned the particular piece of the Evergreen Gardens into a home for dragons of all kinds. Aesop, not remembering Molder nor their battle, offered for him rest and recoup. Molder agreed, telling himself that he would strike when the moment is right, but as time passes, he finds it harder and harder to betray the dragons who have treated him so kindly.

Molder is extremely obvious about the fact that he is of the Scarred Wasteland, bearing badges of pride through various décor and attire, but when it comes to actually spreading plagues and pestilence, Molder has found a particular fascination with mushrooms. Standoffish and proud, he's difficult to get along with, but if anyone were to disrespect within the clan, he’s quick to rise and defend them, quick to sense threats. He’s also particularly fond of the children of the clan, offering to look after them as he has no children of his own.
CORE RELATIONSHIPS
56852025p.png
WRAITH
Partner
Molder had extremely high preferences and standards for any dragon who dared to approach him for courtship and had turned several possible mates away before he met Wraith. While she was smitten by him first, Molder found her strength and straightforward attitude attractive, and the two quickly became close. While he’ll never admit it due to his pride, he appreciates that Wraith is an extremely competent fighter—even more so than himself.

AESOP
Rival
The first and last of Molder’s dragon opponents, the two met when they were both very young. Aesop had just arrived at the Autumna Woods and Molder was there to cause havoc, but it was not as glorious a battle as Molder likes to remember. When Aesop’s questioned about this famed fight, he brightly states that he just received an injured wing, and a mate for the trouble, much to Molder’s disgust at his poor retelling.

NECTAR
Adversary
Nectar is Molder’s reminder of everything he turned out not to be--a competent plague dragon, an advocate for the Plaguebringer, and a proficient fighter. Nectar’s reminder that Molder has gone soft irks him considerably, leaving him in a sour mood any time the two interact. Additionally, he fears what information she sends back to those in the Scarred Wasteland, and if her presence in Autumna Woods will eventually lead to the small clan’s eventual decimation.
