______ Bei is among the older members of the clan, but his wisdom and knowledge is not only a product of his years. He is an old soul, wise beyond his years. Much of his personal history is not known to the clan, as Bei is generally very quiet and reserved. He has a large family, but none of his children and only one of his mates resides with the clan.

______ His love affair with the stars began at an early age, and that coupled with his eagerness to learn quickly earned him an apprenticeship with an astronomer. He proved not just to be a quick study, but to have a true gift: Bei is a Seer. As his abilities grew, its effects on him were obvious; gradually, his feet brightened to a sacred pink, and glowing runes appeared on his sides, pulsing with holy pink light. His master released Bei from servitude, weeping with joy at her prodigy's success.

______ Since then, Bei has only improved. His markings glow ever brighter, sometimes giving enough light to fill the entire den. The clanmates are of course impressed by his abilities, but they are careful not to abuse them. Bei is proud, and is easily offended by the thought of being manipulated for his gifts. He serves the clan well, but they know his duty is to the Arcanist first. Bei is thrilled that the clan finally elected to leave Starwood Strand; one can never be too close to Heaven, he says.
