No one's sure how Pardus got the wounds shown everywhere on him. The most popular rumor was that he was caught in a fire when he was young, and paid the price. However, others include, but aren't limited to;
-An aftermath of a battle that did not go well
-Pardus was actually a zombie...skeleton...thing
-Or, he accidentally fell off a cliff, leading to stone spikes at the bottom. you can guess what happened.

It doesn't help that Pardus refuses to speak of it.
