Biography

Rain is rare in the lands of the Stormcatcher, despite the incessant storms roiling overhead. Fresh water is precious--and at Windhover Mesa, Cyandar is its guardian. While Shulmanu monitors water usage to the last drop, maintaining the distillation units and the collection tanks, Cyandar acts as his apprentice and backup. Should visiting Beastclans even consider taking extra water without asking, Cyandar will appear with preternatural swiftness, breathing down their necks until they slink off. Rival clans tampering with the intake pipes, which run from the Sea of a Thousand Currents, will have to face off against a bristling, snarling Gaoler.

While Shulmanu admires Cyandar for his dedication, the bright blue Gaoler tries to keep a low profile within the clan. His mate, Nightwing, is one of the Acolytes of Erebus, the cult of dark dragons imprisoned deep in the dark tunnels of Windhover Mesa. They met while Cyandar was inspecting a spare reservoir in the dark realms. After initial hostility, they bonded over the realization that the dragons of the Windhover Mesa cannot live without each other, regardless of their philosophies.

Unfortunately, the dragons of the Windhover Mesa frown upon relationships between their own clan and the Acolytes--it does happen, but nobody likes to talk about it. Cyandar prefers to go about his business quietly, using his duties as an excuse to sneak off and see his mate.
