HEZKA
The... computer virus..?
10-28-20XX
Something happened when we were scavenging yesterday.
We found a piece of tech that someone must have lost or dumped. It was like, this... shiny black laptop that looked like it was in completely pristine condition. There were a few sticky notes on the edges of the screen when we opened it, something about deciphering a passcode? And setting something free? Each one seemed more distressed than the last, so that's... fun. Anyways, we did what we do when weird stuff happens around the Quarry -- we did a thorough check for any anomalies.

It didn't really seem all that bad at first, but the notes had us worried. We put them on the community corkboard up in the Center Quarry -- I think they're still there as I'm writing this -- and asked Vaelyth if we should do anything about the computer.
Naturally, he said yes. He's naturally suspicious of things.

Eventually, we brute forced our way in, and was greeted with a single file on the desktop.
HEKZKA.EXE.
Opening it revealed an image of a dragon... we think? And then, well... it got weird.
