He/Him

======
Squinting in the glare of the sunset in front of him, Magpie smiles as he watches his three exploration companions chatter amongst themselves cheerily as they trudge across the open landscape. After only a few minutes of uncomfortable brightness, they finally come upon a spot he deems adequate for spending the night: a small clump of bushes in the middle of this otherwise flat and open plain, with one tall tree that blocks the sun's lessening glow quite nicely. He only needs to call out a very soft "Here," to get the others to stop in their tracks and gather around him. He quietly distributes items to the other three and begins his work setting up camp. He closes his eyes and silently enjoys the sound of his three companions still talking about whatever they please, letting his muscle memory do the work of tying up the ropes to hold their tent up.

Magpie has spent quite a long portion of his life as what most would consider a hermit. He far prefers quiet solitude to the hustle and bustle of most clans, and is quite adept at fending for himself out in the wild. His fascination with all things fungal might also be a part of his isolation: his research leads him deep, deep down into unexplored caves on the hunt for new mushrooms. He takes particular interest in all manner of glowing fungi, finding their soft light a beautiful treasure worthy of being spread far and wide. Spreading his knowledge might be a small issue, though, as despite his immense passion for his work, he tends to be rather shy when presenting it to other dragons. His time alone has made him a bit nervous around his peers, but every once in a while some dragons with similar interests can convince him to open up one of his many journals and share his findings and joy.
