Shimmering Cloth

Duchess works as a guard for the clan and no one can fault her work ethic. She carries herself with such poise and confidence that one might mistake her for royalty.

As eloquent and well-spoken as she is, she easily could have made it as a diplomat and many often wonder at her choice of career. The truth of the matter is that she has little patience for the mind games that come with diplomacy and prefers the simple efficiency of the guard.

She met her mate Elderberry when she was assigned to them as a their personal guard detail when they were sent to hash out a treaty with one of the local beastclans. They got off on entirely the wrong foot; Elderberry inadvertently insulted Duchess with some offhand comment that has since been forgotten and Duchess regarded them coldly for the rest of the ordeal. Elderberry went to great lengths to make amends and eventually won her favor.

Duchess and Elderberry have one daughter together, Insa, whom they both adore.

Duchess is also close friends with Highlight, a priestess with the clan. To others, their interactions may seem strange and stilted but they carry great respect for one another.
