Rohais

The Plague Flight had never quite felt like home for Rohais. The attitudes of his clanmates there--that only the strong had the right to survive, that every dragon should take care of himself--never sat quite right with him. He spent long days away from his fellow dragons, preferring the company of his chosen family, his pet vulture Venta and his familiar Vanilla. Seasons passed, and Rohais still felt as though he didn’t quite belong in his home, and so he set out across Sorneith with Venta and Vanilla by his side.

On his travels, he heard stories about the dragons of Wind Flight, and headed in that direction, hoping that he might find a home in the Windcaller’s territory. Clan Gale Rain welcomed Rohais and his companions with open arms, and the three of them eagerly settled into their new home, happy to help their new clanmates however they could, primarily by keeping the camp neat and tidy.

Rohais enjoys evenings with Clan Gale Rain the most, when the clan’s entertainers gather everyone around the campfire for long nights of songs and stories and dancing. The joyous entertainers are nothing like anything he encountered back in Plague Flight, where evenings of entertainment were seen as a waste of time and energy. He likes to clap and sing along to familiar songs and be dazzled by the elaborate illusions concocted by the clan magicians, although he would never dream of getting up onstage himself.
