Masir

Masir was, in his own opinion, the unlucky one of the nest. He was the youngest, the smallest, the odd one out and the one with the hardest "gift" to manage. His mother had often told him he was just as gifted as his siblings, but he had never seen it that way and wasn't sure he ever would.

Every dragon, from his own mother and father to his siblings, to a stranger he passed and exchanged only a swift greeting with....he knew when and how they would die. As a hatchling this had caused him nightmares and even now he was grown sometimes they would still plague him. He mourned the living and he missed the dead. It was a pitiful existence. Or at least it would have been if not for his siblings.
They gave him strength and had helped him to use his cursed gift for a measure of good. Saving those he could from their fates when he could had given him a new perspective on his abilities. He could only hope that in this new home he would be given the chance to prove that he was as worthy of the acceptance they'd shown as his siblings. Even if he only really needed to prove it to himself.
