Biography
Priest of Barrem
Riberu was once an outlaw in the Shifting Expanse before he joined a sect of Imperial Light Priests and found his calling among them.
They preached that their god was great and infallible, and that Imperials, especially ones born in Her domain were just as perfect. For the longest time, Riberu believed it.
Life was good, but after many years he began to have doubts. Serious doubts.
The Lightweaver created his breed. Proud, noble and mighty Imperials. The pinnacle of dragonkind!
But at the end of their lives they were doomed to become monstrosities unless precautions were taken.
How could someone so good, so perfect, allow something so... flawed? Something...wrong, even?
Such doubts shook his faith, a revelation shattered it.
He overheard the sect leader and a higher-ranked acolyte talking one night.
Overheard something he was -not- meant to hear.
The final goal of the sect was to become an Emperor.
Riberu fled the sect soon after, employing services to assure he wouldn't be followed and wandered the world before ending up in Barrem
