Biography
Seer of past and present, of things to come and inevitable paths
Before time could tell, it was being watched. The hours drifted by like seconds. Observing the minutes of lives and prey, observing the past and all its secrets, Hylia watched and knew her enemies. Their weaknesses, their loves, their life, all known, all seen.
Hylia was once a ruthless mercenary, striving to see through her enemies lives. Overtime she learned how to change things in their lives, small things, disrupting the past, breaking a memory. It was not without its sacrifices, for the more she did this, the more it would lead to her demise. Souls tear at energy exertion, souls explode at the end of a life, destroying a planet if powerful enough.
Hylia disguised herself as human for a portion of her life, living amongst humans in space, never showing what she really was, hiding herself in delicate skin, or so it would appear. Normally a cut from a knife would not harm her skin, however it would harm a human. She had to always be aware of her body in order to stay hidden.
Over a decade with mercenaries and raiders, Hylia grew restless, wanting more, wanting to be free of this cage. She had planned a dangerous mission with her team, which she knew not many, if any at all would survive. With the few that remained alive, she revealed her true self. The human layer faded as she shown in the sun, finally free. However, she could not let the rest live as they’d seen her. Not daring to look into their lives, she ended their lives quickly and without remorse.
Eventually, she returned to the broken homeworld which she had never been to since having a body. It almost felt nostalgic. Searching for an All Mother that had long since passed. All Souls seemed to wander around, searching for their All Mother, but never finding her. Without leadership and a mission, Hylia set off alone into the stars. For two centuries, she remained alone.
Until an All Mother called out to her. It was a signal in the head, a calling to come home. But the signal sounded strange, almost like a cry for help.
