Onye (pronounced "one-eye") trains all dragons from the Clan of Sparrows' Wings to fight and defend themselves when needs be, and takes it upon herself to defend her clan with all her might. She's extremely loyal and kind, and considers nearly all dragons, no matter their backstory, worthy of someone to be there for them.

not because she was the one who was less than upstanding back then. rather- and you see, she is quite old, so she has seen many dragons come and go. and she has seen many dragons be shunned, too. whether it be due to a justifiable cause or one rooted in nothing but someone's petty grudges. she's been the one to shun them in some cases.

and yet, these dragons no one wanted around- so many of them did all they could nonetheless. so many gave it their all, even protected the clan, the family, the city that did not want them.

so that is why she believes so strongly. that is why she trains the dragons of her current clan. even if they are not those who would give all they had, even if they are the ones who would simply refuse to take any more and leave. they all deserve someone to be there for them.
