xxxx The Call shattered her from her stasis and dragged her into the world of Sornieth. Her wings, once bright and gold and holy faded into a sickly, unearthly black that she compared to the Shade lurking within the heart of all dragon kind. Disgusting. Tainted. Maybe that was normal when a beast like her was exposed to the earthly air.

Standing below her was a dragon who stood out as a pale beacon in the shadows of the eternal morning, holding the glittering scroll that kept her bound to servitude of the owner. She writhed against the invisible chains that kept her bound, breath jetting from her maw as she fought to free herself from the spell but no, with another word the Skydancer brought her to her knees. With another command words poured from her mouth, unbidden, spilling ancient secrets in a long lost language into the air.

It took her summoner twice to get the right command-- she would not reveal the secrets of her kind to a fool so easily but between curses she spoke. The breeze, the laughter and songs of dragons, even the very life of her summoner meant nothing; she had lived far too long to not understand that none of it mattered-- all of it was impure, and had fallen so far from their Goddess. All would turn to dust in time and all would burn in the Light of War.

A bigger game was afoot, for she had seen Divinity and in it, the condemnation of Sornieth.
