Biography
Links to other dragons' pages which have significant or completed Biographies are bolded. Links to other dragons' pages which either have no or minimal Biographies or are mostly direct copies of the Biography which links to them are not bolded. Links to a tab such as a race's tab are unbolded but italicized. Most Biographies refer to The Great Exodus, an apocalypse-borne event summarized on the first lair tab's Description.
Skylord Sanrathel has long been the leader of the cireln's Skyguard, the aerial defenders of the cireln homeland valley of the Crystalwood.
The Skyguard perform their duties mounted upon their manatail drake companions which until coming to this world during the Great Exodus were intuitive and loyal though naturally feral beasts known for the dedication needed to gain their trust and tame them. Although most which would become bonded to riders were selectively hatched from long lines of the most mild-tempered and loyal of their kind, very few have been easy to handle and so those of the Skyguard are an unofficial nobility of their own as more have been lost to the wild natures of their companion mounts than have been lost in protection of their lands. Fortunately, deaths from either have been uncommon.
Upon being transported to this strange new world, possibly the strangest of things imaginable occurred: the manatail drakes rescued from the apocalypse gained the ability to speak and the forms of Imperial dragons. The transition has been strange for everyone, but Sanrathel is grateful that he can now truly speak with his partner, Sa'Sharezza. The most wild of the female manatail matriarchs, she remains the most headstrong of them all but like all of the manatails seems to have mellowed some now that she can communicate with words. Feeling as though he has truly gained a new friend in her with this change, what happened to the manatails has been a relief for all, as the reason for their limited numbers being brought to Sornieth was the fear that they would be even more difficult to control in a completely new and potentially frightening environment. They could not be more comfortable here, however, and the clan is better for it.
Sanrathel is a close friend of Enthelon (Eldanareth). He is one of the few cireln fluent in Tradespeech/Common and is also an uncommonly trusting soul among them. That was why he was very anxious to get to know Enthelon and the reason that their enigmatic goddess and creator Giselth the Twilight commanded her children to save his life when he was captured and nearly died in the captivity of the warring country of Solesk on their homeworld---a request no god had ever before made to the knowledge of anyone. To the few most open-minded of the cireln, often xenophobic as a whole, Sanrathel and Kela are paragons pioneering a relationship that some feel the need to establish with the rest of the world rather than continuing their seclusion for the rest of their days.
Fortunately, the Great Exodus set motion to that need whether or not most of their kind was truly prepared for such a transition, and most fortunate of all: their lord, Levneralis, is now able to publicly share in the desire for them to leave their cocooned state and with Sanrathel and Kela already being seen as natural leaders within their society, the future has been soon in coming and with less difficulty than anyone expected.
Not long after the clan's initial explorations into Sornieth began, Sanrathel encountered his familiar which he named Soquari---or it named itself. He cannot tell, as it feels like he has known it all of his life and he understands things near it that it did not say.
Highlord Levneralis may make it to the Leaders tab one day but for now he's a work-in-progress and his Biography is empty. Not forever! There's much to say. He exists, though!
The second-in-command of the still-intact Skyguard remains Denkeeper Vilnrydel. His Biography redirects here.
To learn more about the manatail drakes, information can be found on Sa'Shevira's Biography. Currently she's the only manatail in this lair, which will hopefully no longer be the case soon!
Kela is also a work-in-progress. :}
