The leader and co-founder of the Clan of the Gale Winds. Sunsplash doesn't care much for rules, and as such the clan doesn't really have any. She is fond of riding around on her mate, Marrow's, head and shoulders, and it's not an uncommon occurrence for her to hold a clan meeting while perched on him.

Hatched to a small nomadic clan, Sunsplash grew up traveling all over the Windswept Plateau. One day, as Sunsplash was nearing adulthood, the clan was suddenly attacked by monsters. Fortunately, a clan of traveling warriors that was nearby at the time noticed the commotion, and they quickly stepped in and fought off the monsters. While patching up the injured, the two clans got to talking, and after learning that they were planning to take the same route, they decided to travel it together.

Sunsplash soon began to take interest in a young Mirror from the other clan named Marrow. He seemed so serious, so... dull; a perfect candidate for being on the receiving end of her pranks. However, they ended up getting along more than either of them anticipated, and when it came time for their clans to part ways, they instead left their clans together.

The two of them found an old, abandoned windmill where they lived for a while. During this time, Sunsplash had a single egg, out of which hatched a brightly-colored Mirror boy that they named Lightning. When Lightning was deemed old enough, the family took to traveling once again; this time off of the Windswept Plateau.

While in the Starwood Strand, they came across a lone Arcane egg, seemingly without a caretaker. Sunsplash and Marrow decided to adopt it, and it soon hatched into a Fae that they named Autumn. Not too long after, in Dragonhome, Lightning brought back to camp a large, egg-shaped rock that he had found. It turned out to actually be more of a rock-shaped egg, and so a baby Earth Tundra was also added to their care. A bit daunted by the prospect of continuing traveling with three small children, the pair decided to return to the Windswept Plateau.

They made their permanent home on the Zephyr Steppes, by the bamboo forest near the windmill they used to live in. Over time, other dragons joined them, and eventually a small village was formed.
