"This one looks evil."

"Have you seen his eyes? Purple. Must be a magic user."

"I hear that they don't see right from wrong, but use everything and everyone for their own personal gain."

Whispers followed him wherever he went. He ignored them the best he could; for he could do nothing to stop them anyway. The way he looked was simply the cause of heritage; and you can't choose your family.

He dipped his claws into the ancient arcane pools of magic and found out he had an affinity for mysticism; with open eyes he saw past and future events, unveiling destinies of many lands and dragons across the Sorieth.

Unsure of who or what exactly was feeding hiim this information; was it the result of the magic imbued in him upon birth and released as he grew or was there something else behind it; he dared not share it with anyone. Changing the course of destiny never brings anything good, he thought.
Not that many wanted his company anyway.

And so he traveled, witnessing ups and downs of lands and Clans alike, almost never surprised or taken aback.
When others started noticing how he'd leave just before a great battle ensued or a disease struck; they started calling him a coward atop everything else; cursing him for being of Arcane origin but doing nothing to save them or stop the event. Surely magic users could do that! He's just a living proof of their arrogance!
But he was not a coward, inside he knew he was a lion, brave and disciplined for keeping quiet and not making everything even worse. Surely this was a better choice of the unceirtanty that would come with meddling.

And so everyone called him Coward, but he called himself Lion; burdened by the events but certain it had to be just as it happened.
Until one fateful event, which rocked his resolution and made him want to go against himself for the first time in his life...
