Astropeleki sat down before the doors of the airlock, pulling himself up as proudly as he could. He spared himself a moment to be inwardly giddy as he paused to let his suit be properly checked over by the two dragons that had followed him. A light gray clipboard, bearing the checklist he had memorized several times over, was receiving all but a death grip from his thickly gloved paws. He tried his best not to tremble, but even Thunderdrum would have raised a brow at the speed of his heartbeat. It was all he could do to keep himself from leaping straight into the ceiling.
I'm going to be in space!
"Then I'm going to be double in space," Astro retorted, a bright grin lighting up his previously tense expression. He gazed up at the airlock doors, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. The cloud of glittering fur that enveloped him was one step, and the vacuum of the Sphere Containment Pods was the next. Just two of many steps on the long journey he felt calling to him whenever he gazed up at the night sky.
"I'm going to be an Astro-naut."

The scholarly Star-dancer before him raised an eyebrow beneath his gold-trimmed hat as he secured several of the suit's wires into place. "The Tundra whose mane alone holds all the stars of a galaxy is excited about floating in a cell for a mere few minutes," he remarked, a wry smile creeping across his face. A short puff of air betrayed the amusement of the icy blue Coatl tending to the back of the suit, whose smirk promptly vanished when a sudden upward tilt of the Tundra's head nearly sent a horn into his eye.
