Mirage

Born into the clan under a pair of watchful eyes, Mirage was closely monitored and cared for by his father, BlackBerry, and king, Royal. His siblings were exiled do to failure to comply with the court and have never been seen again. He never knew his mother, and is still curious to this day about her, but nevertheless made it through his childhood and into the scary world.

While still a young dragonet, he was mentored by Royal to be the first new member of the Court of Akhyls. He was placed in the position after succeeding trial and working vigorously as a scribe, earning a seat right next to the king.

Mirage struggles with his self image, constantly battling with intrusive thoughts and threats that dig into his skin like a pair of talons. He wears bandages to cover up the horrible scars of the past, and is known as the Weeping Archer in the Court of Akhyls.

He’s known for being quiet but intimidating, many shake in fear under his gaze. He gives and directs the cruelest punishments for those he deems necessary. He’s by far the oldest lawyer in the court, and he mentored Dekoxo after she arrived. Currently, he sorts through old testaments in his free time, speaking in short sentences with the other lawyers. He’s on good terms with his father, and Royal Scribe, Blackberry, as they spend time chatting away about old texts and stories.
