Biography
still have a job wrote:
"Quiggditate."
Quidgat paused, his fur prickling with the slight tinge of terror. He hasn't heard that voice in years, maybe- frankly, he forgot that she still remembered him. Silently he ignored it, staring at the door to his room with wide eyes.
"Quiggditate, I know you're in there."
Gulping, a shaky voice, "Come in."
The imposing form of Mezzotine pushed open the door; a form that still radiated with power, despite being in a smaller version of it. Her fur wasn't even combed, her mane wasn't tied up, and her wings sat folded on her back. Most dragons here didn't even sprout their wings unless taking flight.
"Ah, good to see you're still alive, arcanite. What have you discovered? Do you have notes? Eyes in the city?"
"Ah, well, about that-"
"You've been here for three and a half years alone, arcanite. I'm sure there's got to be SOMETHING you've been up to."
He gulped again, scrambling for an out. "Well... I've been, in, integrating myself into the local community. Most of them have no idea I'm even affiliated- they believe that I'm not even affiliated with the Orders anymore, infact- it's mere days until they reveal themselves to me." He grinned, nervously. Mezzotine leaned in, lifting an eyebrow as she examined him.
He could almost hear his sweat rolling.
"... Keep up the work, arcanite. I'll be back to check up again- just send a messanger."
