Biography

The Glowing Slime

Once upon a time, deep in the labyrinth, remnants of Clan Vale's dark activities began to stir.

These remnants took on many formes, and though none were pleasant, some were friendlier than others. The Remnants took to wandering the Labyrinth, exploring the dark tunnels, long since cut from the rest of the world by cave-ins and magic barriers.

But one day, a Remnant smelled something. It was quite unlike anything the little clump of ooze and glowing bones had ever smelled before, and it was quite curious about it. And so, the little slime began its journey, using its honestly quite amazing sense of smell to track the scent though the tunnels of the Labyrinth.

As it traveled on, it would come across collapsed tunnels, places where the ceilings began to fall in, or other such obstructions. It discovered that these were of little consequence to it, as its slime body allowed it to squeeze through small cracks and holes, and the bones were usually small enough to fit.

Eventually, it came across a collapse with a small leaking pipe. The pipe smelled strongly of the scent that it so loved, and the ooze decided it must climb the pipe to see if it could finally discover the source of the delicious smell.

After about three hours of determined crawling, he popped out of the sink of Cosmic Latte's cafe and immediately scared the bejeezus out of Cindershard, before downing three dozen stale pastries from the days before.

He was hired on as a 'Foodwaste Disposal Unit', and he takes his job Very Seriously.

He basically just eats stale pastries, coffee grounds, leftover coffee, and the like. He very much enjoys it.
- he loves espresso. It's the smell that brought him out of the Labyrinth
- he can control what he digests with his ooze. he sticks to food because he was raised with Manners thank you very much
- the bones are, in fact, his. Nobody knows why they glow, not even him
- was named Ooze by Cindershard, because what else are you going to name him?
- is less messy than one thinks, only things he comes into direct contact with get slime on them. Sometimes he can convince the lost slime to rejoin his body
