"Oh, hi!! Welcome to the Ancient's lair,"

The vibrant gaoler grins and performs a polite curtsey to welcome you. Without trying to be rude you squint slightly and force a smile back, your eyes burning slightly as your brain attempts understand the other dragon's chaotic and vivid patterns. As if it wasn't a peculiar sight already, the gaoler appears to be under some sort of magical or mechanical effect -- a peculiar digital headset upon her head seems to summon pale blue plasma particles appear to give her an almost digital appearance. If you didn't know better, you would have assumed she was some sort of semi-real hologram.

"What is it? Is there something in my mane?"

Her eyes widen and she stares at you for a moment, frowning, before a realization dawns upon her face.

"Oh--sorry, I forgot I was still testing this contraption out for Envoy. Pretty cool, huh?"

She points to the thing on her head and changes the subject without any further explanation.

The dragon turns around, beckoning you to follow her into the cavern with a flick of her tail, seeming comfortable as if you were somehow already acquainted.

"I'm Marcone, by the way, I sort of manage things for the Ancient lair in this clan. You could say I'm like a clan leader!"

She glances at you with a wide grin, probably hoping you would seem impressed.

"Okay, maybe it's not exactly like that... there aren't many of us, after all."

Marcone stops walking for a moment and almost seems... sad? You have a hard time understanding her vibe.

"But, you know, we have sort of different needs from the modern breeds! And someone's gotta be the voice for that, right?"

She flashes you another toothy grin to validate her previous statement.

"Oh, we're here already, well... I would try to make it quick. The only residents down here that are particularly outgoing are myself and Tampa...but you should be fine as long as you stay out of the other's...erm... personal bubbles."

Marcone smiles sympathetically at you before giving her parting statement.

"If anyone gives you trouble, you know who to come to. I'll see you around!"

Without another word she dashes back towards the cave's entrance, almost like a hatchling scampering after harmless prey.

a gaoler born to tundra and guardian parents, she was rejected from her home clan due to being considered a bad omen. her and her sister, arcadia, were roaming nomads for the majority of their adolescence, they were welcomed eagerly into the gladewing clan in it's early stages and marcone continues to be a large personality in the clan presently. she considers herself the unofficial "leader" of the clan's gaoler clan, and even though the clan's gaolers dislike that she assumed that position, no one has challenged her for the position yet, and her outspoken personality prevents others from attempting to do so.

she is the only gaoler that is frequently seen outside of the gaoler cavern- it seems that she can tolerate the heat of the jungle better than the others
