and then I got my hands on her ...
(formerly Pet/Butt/Glim)
Daronicath didn't WANT to grow up to be just like Mom and Dad! Bo-ring! So, at the first opportunity, she lit out for parts unknown .... to her anyway. She ended up remaining on the Windswept Plateau after all, not feeling quite so adventurous once she hit the wilder parts of the realm. But her wandering gave her a chance to remake herself, and to find other dragons with a song in common, at WindSky Weyr. She is now a practicing Windchanter there, part of an exclusive and valued group, and hones her skills daily. She could not be happier with her decisions.
She was even more happy when she found herself crossing paths with Viridis, a visitor who was suddenly trapped at WindSky Weyr by the quarantine the Windchanters were charged with enforcing through their great Keep Away spell. So glad to keep seeing him even after the Sinensis Tea Room was forced to close temporarily until the sickness passed. They dared to start a nest ... Life goes on!
Don't mention how much he resembles her father ....
