Bio
Even from an early age it was clear that Dionysus wasn't someone to be toyed with.
He never had anyone to teach him right from wrong and quite frankly even if he did it wouldn't have mattered. His kind of anger had been burned into his soul for a long time even before anyone could correct it. He was never meant to be good, never meant to be kind. Only a creature who thrived upon the pain and suffering of others.
But for all of his smarts he never fully thought things through and he was considered rash by his peers and noticeably violent whenever someone had questioned his actions. The Imperial had enjoyed playing with them like they were a game and they were fearful of him, but even more fearful of what should have happened if they had tried to hide. And though fully enjoying his reign he wasn't stupid with it as he knew when his tongue was stronger than his teeth.
Even though he was a strongly manipulative creature on his own there was a dark gift bestowed upon him. Dionysus had discovered his powers when speaking with his clan's leader and though the conversation hadn't gone where he had initially wanted it to go there was a sudden change in the other. Dionysus had whispered dark secrets to him, worming his way into the other's mind, and shortly after it was clear that he had the power to instill madness. Never fully understanding it's origins he decided to never question it and to simply use it at his own discretion. He was finally capable of achieving his darkest desires. And though proud of his work upon the clan he grew tired of them and convinced his thrall to put an end to them as it was time to move on.
So they had slaughtered them all and left.
For a time he had wandered alone, found a certain comfort in solitude and though briefly wondering what it was like to be with another he had quickly decided that being alone was the best solution after a night with a pretty eyed huntress. Dionysus was never one to be tied to another and never would be, something that the Imperial would never allow himself to forget. For as long as his memory had spanned it was just him and always would be.
Then soon there was another clan that he had stumbled upon. They were interesting and quickly gained Dionysus' attention. It was a curious thing but for once Dionysus had felt himself wanting to be apart of it, a reason he could never find. All he knew was that he needed to be there.
And though a strongly uninhibited mind as he was the clan leader had let him join. But there was obvious friction from such decisions as the others found themselves cautious around him, especially the leader's right hand. Cetus was a strong and noble creature, festering with self-righteousness and the mind that he was better than Dionysus. They were obvious opposites.
It was clear that this new group had been a bit of a change to the Imperial but not so much a bad one. Clan Lunam, as he had soon learned after joining, was a collection of bright and smart individuals. In spite of his darker deeds he still found himself relishing the thought of intelligence and for the most part didn't hate them.
Most of them.
The Great Plague: Part 2
"Are you seriously going through with this?" Dionysus asked, clear concern expressed on his face.
"Yes!" Dante insisted. "It's the only thing I can do. He has to go."
It was a crazy idea. A stupid idea. A crazy and stupid idea, and coming from Dionysus, that meant something! He had had plenty of crazy and stupid ideas before, but none as sinister as this.
To put oneself into debt with the Plaguebringer... The thought loomed over him. Dante has no idea what he's getting himself into. Was he going to advise him against it, though? Not really.
The chaos would be a fun change of pace, and, afterall, he wouldn't be affected.
