Biography
As a hatchling, only a few days old, Lumina was one of the brightest children in her lair. She was always bouncing around, playing with the others, entertaining young and old alike. This energy was not always good, however, as it led her to wander far from her nest one night. She was not a child easily frightened, mainly because she did not know to fear anything. A loud noise would entertain her, as would bright lights, rather than scare her as they would many other hatchlings. Not only were they entertaining, they were also curious, and something that she wanted to investigate, and so she did.
This wandering and investigating brought her across many fields, a few rivers, and a chasm at one point, and not even Lumina was sure how she crossed so far. At the end of her path, however, was a meteor. It wasn't too odd on the outside, but it was cracked near the bottom, revealing a glow within. The little gaoler saw this, and dug - at the ground, at the meteor, widening the crack until she could just fit in, to find flowers growing, and glowing, in the hollow center. It was warm, here, and Lumina was tired, the flowers lulling her into a pleasant dream.
She woke up to find the flowers turned to stone, where they had been very much alive the night before. It was midday, she guessed, from the light coming from the crack, and she felt quite refreshed. Making her way to her feet within the meteor, she stepped out of the rock, and started home. Not too long after, though, a strange dragon found her, one she did not recognize. Being the bouncy hatchling that she was, she was not scared, merely happy to meet a new friend. This dragon, for reasons Lumina did not know, took her for a "ride", eventually passing out of Light territory and into Shadow. He stopped only when they had reached the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. Here, she was left to roam, as the dragon that brought her here "gathered more friends for a 'special occasion.'"
