As the first daughter Omnia was bequeathed to Moani's brother Erroneous, his own son bearing the mark of the Beast was sent forth to Moani's lair in order to serve as a bridge between the two Clans.

Beast, however, shares no love for his aunt; he leads the Eclipsed Dawn, a group of dragons twisted by Shade that lurk on the outskirts of Shadow's borders. Beast is ruthless, cunning and heartless - his only desire is to twist his cousins to the whims of his masters, and abhors Moani for embracing the Light and shedding all attachments to her dark past.

If Beast gets his way, all of Moani's children will bow to Shade - whether or not he succeeds, however, remains to be seen...
