Deathtrap came into this clan as a hatchling, and quickly grew up
into an avid hunter. As she didn't grow up around fellow Pearlcatchers, she never learned their ways, which she refers to as cowardice embodied. She leads many hunts whenever the clan requires food, and prides herself as an excellent fighter.
She is named for when, as a mere hatchling, she caught a small
mammal and snapped its spine between her teeth, holding her jaw shut until it stopped moving. Especially unique considering she doesn't eat meat, instead offering it to another hatchling once it had gone limp.
Deathtrap is not one for gossip spoken behind closed doors. Anything
she has to say will be spat from bared teeth if it must. She's happy to carry a conversation with anyone who respects her, but is silent with anyone she isn't well acquainted with. Anyone who she will call a friend can rest easy knowing Deathtrap will fight for them until the day she lost a battle.
While out hunting in the Scarred Wasteland, a fungal growth spread
from an enemy she felled, anchoring itself atop her scales. Mere days passed and her body was swarming with brown and red growth, including her pearl. Though this terrified her, she soon realized she could continue to add to the pearl, as her mucus killed the fungus and could cure before it grew back.
These growths can help her in battle, allowing her to wield their
spores as a weapon if she must fight anything larger than herself. Though Deathtrap would never use this on anything she intends to bring home to the clan, it will make swift work of anything that stands in her way.
