• Remembers being caught by another Imperial, seemingly a Necromancer
• She initiated his Trials instead
• Came out a "Necromancer"
• Joined a small clan with her in the Wandering Contagion
• Slowly started hearing voices
• Made friends with some of the drakes
• Left to help a traveler in the Contagion who needed his air (saw himself as a healer of sorts)
• Lost control of his strain
• It spread to the land
• Caused the Wanderers to flee
• He remained, but his wings had turned dark
• He was a Lich
• His partner remained with him, as if to comfort him
• She was slowly turning darker as well
• The two decided to follow the Wanderers after a time, hoping to catch up
• Got close, but never fully succeeded in the Boneyard
• Slowly became lost to the Shade during that time from using his strain as he would when he thought he was a Necromancer
• On the Rotrock Rim, they caught up to the Wanderers
• Many travelers died to the two Liches
• Were written off as a dark Emperor with Burning eyes of malice and deep red pits of death, nearly as dark as the Shade itself
• Spent time on the Rim learning how to appear like a regular dragon again
• His mate was better at it, and had to teach him
• Soon they could pass as regular drakes, just darker in coat
• If one listens, they can hear the rasp to his voice from overuse, whispering back to the whispers in his ear
• Keep themselves covered in clothes around the Necromancers of the clan and act like regular drakes
• Took enough time so that they'd be forgotten as the Shaded Emperor at the Rim
• Still go out on trips to "other flights" to honeymoon, but really go out to raise Revenants and Wights
• Plan to take over the clan by force
• "Why approach me? I'm just a dark-coated Imperial. All I can do is tell you who you should go to if you need help."

Note on Familiar. When he appeared to be a regular Necromancer, his bear familiar appeared to be a Graveyard Guardian. When he darkened, however, his familiar changed with him into a Fungusbearing Phony, as false a grand familiar as he was a Necromancer. It is still one of the high-ranking familiars due to his darker body color marking him as one of the more dangerous Liches (and how he was seen as a powerful Necromancer when he could still fool others).

Another note is that he had a dark coat before he became a Necromancer. As such, upon his turn to the Shade, it appeared to be a swift shift from Necromancer to dangerous Lich. However, as it turned out, he used to be Shadow in color.
