  • Born to two Seekers who nested in Wind territory. Her two brothers became Seekers but she became a Keeper instead
  • As a Keeper, she was allowed to observe trials
  • A trio of Tundras had been accused of killing their sister, and the evidence was stacked against them. Despite this, Depthwar felt compassionate towards them
  • The Tundras were given a life sentence, placed in her cell block
  • One night, they were grieving and their story sounded convincing enough, so she decided they were innocent
  • She unlocked their shackles and the four escape the Fortress
  • Depthwar uses her connections as a Keeper to get a boat captain to transport all four of them to the Sea of a Thousand Currents via the Windswept Plateau
  • When they arrive, the Tundras leave her on her own, and she settles down in a small Wind clan under a fake name
  • She mates with the Seeker who is investigating the Reedcleft Ascent
  • After the leader's mate is ousted as a liar, his prisoners are freed. They reveal that they are all descendants of the trio Depthwar saved
  • She befriends them
  • Depthwar is unaware of the full consequences of her actions; some of the Icewarden's most beloved subjects were put to death as punishment for her escape
  • Three of them survived, and one of them still lives in the clan...
