My origins hail from Ashfall wastes, when I was merely a hatchling

I was fascinated with grand adventures the elders would talk about. I chose to leave the heat of my home and take to the skies in search of such adventures taking only my treasured runestone along for the ride.

I flew north across the sea of a thousand currents, being from the lands

of fire I have never fancied the water so I kept flying, not like there was anyplace to land anyway. An unexpected storm forced me down into the thorny embrace of the tangled woods damaging my wings in the process. I spent countless decades in the shadows searching for a safe way out as time passed other dragons joined me also tired of the gloom. Eventually finding our way to the western border where I discovered a stone carving tangled in the thorny vines adding it to my collection before our little group headed down into the red fog of the wandering contagion.

After wandering the wastes we settled in a out of the way corner of the

wyrmwound the smell was awful but you get used to it after a decade or two, maybe three, who am I kidding it still smells just less then when I first arrived. I found myself a nice little cave, well nice by plague standards and set up shop crafting fine wares for my clan mates others in the region stop by on occasion leaving large orders to complete for the annual plague festival. One such visitor left me a beat up old lantern in addition to my normal fee, I set about repairing the lantern in my spare time between orders from far and wide for the monthly festivals. Once it was repaired one of my finest crafts If i do say so myself I puffed the softest of flames on to the wick and to my surprise it came quite alive floating around the workshop what I can only assume a cheesy grin on its parchment face. I have not had a moment alone since, honestly, I couldn't be happier.
