Mara

Rules are made to be broken, and without those at the ready to test the status quo, they never would be. That’s where Mara comes in. Her nature is to question even the most supposedly trustworthy of authority, and do all she can to set things right. To Mara, every injustice is equally intolerable- even those that oft go unnoticed. She lives life on her own terms, never afraid of risk, nor change. In fact, she openly advocates for both.

- - - Her deep-seated skepticism mixes with her pride to create a cacophony of trust issues, rendering any help others may offer immediately declined. Mara’s distaste for all that doesn’t fit her particular definition of “good” can occasionally lead her to outcast who would otherwise be useful allies, along with occasionally alienating those who care for her.
