Biography
A deposed noble of House Scorpius who happened upon the clan. Has an eye for precious stones. Best friend to Opal and Yeti’s beloved wife.
Grew up enjoying the finer things in life. Loves exquisite foods and soft pillows. Luxuries defined her lofty childhood as a noblewoman in the Light territory.
War with neighboring Shadow houses wiped out many of her friends and family. Eventually conflict arrived at her own doorstep when an army marched towards her town. She lead the charge herself, fully intending to die defending her home, but was captured by the enemy. Her home was burned to the ground. Her captivity was cut short by a collection of children who had lived under her House. The trio had snuck away from the fortress unscathed. In their exile, Blackberry learned about the lives of the young dragons— two street children with nowhere to go, who were protected by the knights of House Scorpius despite their social status. The children’s unquestioning trust in her humbled the noblewoman. They would look out for each other as they travelled north, far from the Shadow territories. Their arrival in the Nature territory marked where the children would part ways with Blackberry, hoping to pursue their own lives further in the East. It broke Blackberry’s heart to bid them farewell, though she wished them the best of luck regardless. She has been very fond of younglings ever since.
Traveling alone was easy in Nature territory. Villages were happy to share their bounties given by Gladekeeper. Blackberry found herself as a wanderer, unable to find happiness in any single village. Chance found her meeting Seaglass the maildragon, who invited Blackberry into their underground home. Blackberry found herself taken with the strange architecture and safety of the underground, where she was hidden and anonymous. The clan leader Hollo recognized her as the Stained Glass Lady, the subject of many a rumor. It was said that she was a princess. Though Blackberry was initially quite frightened, Hollo made sure she had a fine home and a fresh start. Blackberry quickly became fast friends with the princess Opal, Hollo’s daughter.
She would later open her jewelry store next to a vacant house, which would later be occupied by a handsome young Yeti, who had a dream and a purpose that Blackberry admired very deeply. The two married just two years after meeting.
