Comes from a royal lineage. Had to escape because his mother's powerhunger brought forth some... trouble.
Before leaving under the dead of night, went to the Clan's... Erm... "Special dragon" who made him a few drinks. The drinks made our fella undergo a visible change in body markings, effectively turning him into someone else, someone entirely new.

Now, as he roams the wilds, he keeps his royal history a secret, but deep down, inside the pearl he keeps close at all times, is a hidden image of his former self:

But what is this all of a sudden?
Poor Nixon. There's a limit to every magic, and the potions he was served are no different.
As the camouflage wears off with time, our boy is doing his best to get as far away from his Mother's Clan and her power-hungry grip.
He'd rather get somewhere where his royal lineage wouldn't be recognized and he could live off his life as an ordinary member.
Perhaps joining an army somewhere and dying like a mediocre soldier would be good enough, he thinks while discarding the scroll he carried along the way.
