B I O G R A P H Y
Had Ziio not stepped in, Dybbuk may have very well returned to the Tidelord dead, or un-dead. Though a Mirror wouldn't have been in any danger, Dybukk still warned the other of Sovereign, a cult centered upon luring out Sonerith's deities by any means necessary. Oddly, when asked if she could do anything to repay her, Ziio only asked for information. "Tell me," Ziio had began, words slow as if contemplating each vowel. "Tell me about the children of your Tidelord." It was a strange request made even stranger from this lone Mirror. No Guardian herself, Dybbuk nonetheless told her of what she knew. From their conversation, it seemed to Dybukk that Ziio had met a Guardian back towards the Expanse. Miscellaneous

"It's nothing personal." The bite of chain around her snout, however, felt very personal. Were she not tied down, Dybbuk would have loved to show the traitor what 'personal' really looked like. Instead, she shot the other dragon a look that conveyed the truest extent of her ire. The traitor even had the nerve to look abashed before melting back into the ring that surrounded her. Of course, Dybbuk chided herself. Leave it to her to make friends with the one rumored to be in line with Sovereign, and have it actually be true. Way to go. Though searing with anger at the betrayal- was it betrayal if it was only a setup to begin with? - Dybbuk felt a cold sheet of finality settle in her bones. This was actually it. She was alone, far from her den, surrounded by dragons who were most likely going to kill her. They would most likely dump her with the rest of their victims, and- She could see it, a creature so vile, not even the Tidelord could remain submerged. A monster that would have her head. How could the Sovereign be so foolish? What could they hope to achieve through raising an Emperor? |
