Maraluna is so named because others call her "moon of the sea". The water dragon was found floating in a tidepool after a large storm, covered in an odd glowing material. While the initial substance did wash off, the random tendency to glow did not.

When she was found, Maraluna’s wings were damaged beyond repair. Luckily, Chaotic Daydreams is on good terms with the local Maren, and they traded for some supple, waterproof leather in a water pattern to rebuild the little dragon’s membranes. The new wings might be slightly less instinctual than her original ones, but Maraluna is quite happy with them and they get her where she needs to go.

The dragon is highly nocturnal… probably because she doesn’t need outside light to see. Perhaps because of her strange ability, Maraluna likes to breed bioluminescent creatures in the bay. She currently has a project going with Pumpkin to figure out how to use the glow in other things. They use a combination of science, magic, and alchemy to tinker around with stuff trying to figure out how to light everything up.
