Vexia

There is a strange smell as you enter the secluded den. Weathered and torn fabrics hang from the craved stone entrance, seemingly providing a barrier for the mild haze that lies within. Trinkets, baubles, herbs, and vials of varying origins hang somewhat haphazardly from fraying ropes and atop crooked shelves.
Scrawlings of countless unworldly symbols are splashed across the walls, some make sense, but most do not. As you hesitate at the entrance, you feel an unnerving pull from the darkness within this strange place.
A lone Pearlcatcher sits in the darkness of the unlit den, the only light you can see coming from a strangely glowing pearl, swirling patterns dance across its surface, you feel dizzy just looking at it. This Pearlcatcher, this... "Vexia" you've heard tales of, looks up in your direction, sending a chill down your spine.
Her face is covered, or at least her eyes are covered, somehow this makes the smile she gives all the more creepy. Her excessive jewelry clinks and chimes as she slowly waves at a small satin pillow situated in front of her table covered in more satin.
"Come..." She says, speaking in a voice of a thousand whispers. "Let us see what knowledge the Pearl shall bring you."
