Pestilence is the royal courier for the lair of the hopeless queen. Although this was not her chosen profession she fulfills her duties without a fuss. She had been struggling with flying, considering her condition. This job seems to have helped her figure out how to fly with a 'melting' wing.

Pestilence's body is wracked with multiple diseases. The current medic, Lasuli, can't seem to figure it out and has reported she should be dead. Pestilence hasn't fit in very well since then, her melting features seem to scare the rest of her clan.

The origin of her diseases is unknown, she was found not long ago in the outskirts of the scarred wasteland. The disease wasn't found on her then and only seems to be appearing now. Lasuli has reported touching Pestilence is not going to infect you unless you have an open wound.

Lasuli took Pestilence under her wing when the rest of the clan seemed to deject her as a fellow clan member. In Pestilence's mind, Lasuli is the closet thing to a mother she will ever have. Lasuli's love has made Pestilence eager to learn her trade.

Disease and treatment

____Lasuli theorizes that Pestilence has a concoction of diseases, none of which seem to want to spread to the rest of the clan. By her records she assumes the brunt of her condition is caused by a form of leprosy and flesh eating virus, while the rest of it is a bit up in the air. Her studies have shown that these diseases, combined with whatever else she may have, should have killed her long ago but through it all Pestilence is somehow still alive. Lasuli can't seem to figure it out and simply informs her clan members that Pestilence is not a danger to their health, or so she thinks. Recently Pestilence has proven herself quite the formidable foe. Her talons, laced with the oozing green that comes from her wounds, seems to infect anything they can pierce. Turning her prey or victims sickly in a matter of hours, you won't last long if Pestilence has used her claws to harm you.

____Though there still is hope for you if Pestilence has indeed gotten her claws into you. For now Lasuli has been treating people cut by Pestilence as if they were leprosy victims and treats them as such. She had formed a concoction to fight the sickness that pestilence can so easily spread but this cure can only be found in the lair of the hopeless queen. Lasuli has attempted to use this treatment on Pestilence but it didn't seem to do anything. Lasuli theorizes this is due to the fact she is already dead.

Personality

____Pestilence's appearance makes for a very hard conversation stater. Her rotting features makes one think of her as an aggressive, mean, brooding type but all of this is on the contrary! Pestilence is kind, although shy at times due to her state of being. She is often times willing to talk to anyone who wishes to speak to her and although typically a gentle giant, Pestilence can have her outbursts. Pushing Pestilence too hard isn't a very good idea as she has claws and isn't afraid to use them. Although there is treatment for her diseases it isn't always a guarantee you will leave with your life.
