B I O G R A P H Y

Having a body as red as the setting sun and wings as orange as a roaring fire, his nest mother and father wasn't sure what to make of one of their new hatchlings. He was dubbed "Setting-Sun" while the rest of his siblings had actual names. He wasn't terribly smaller than his nest mates, but enough where it caught the attention of their nest mother. He was eating as much as his nest mates but he wasn't as big as they were. Well, they only had one duty to their nest and that was to make sure that the nest gets to adult hood so they, too, will begin their Search.

Setting-Sun was often looked after by Nest Father while Nest Mother paid more attention to the rest of his nest mates. He was confused at first, not understanding why Nest mother would often be away from him, but when he looked up, Nest father would be resting near him. Often times, Setting-Sun would curl up against Nest Father, his crimson scales standing out against the Black and hints of blue of the Nest Father. While Setting-Sun took more after of his Nest Mother, his personality was more of his Nest Father's; calm, gentle, silent and observing.

When it was time for Setting-Sun to begin his search for his Charge, his Nest Father saw him off with a hopeful heart, his Nest Mother watching as the rest of the nest took off in their own directions. Setting-Sun wandered around, aimlessly and not sure on where he was to start. He visited many clans, before moving on, never being able to find what he was supposed to be looking for. Time passed quickly, and no matter how long it has passed, Setting-Sun never gave up. It wasn't until he decided to settle in a cave, set on making it his own little home, and perhaps one day, his charge will come to him, or when he feels, he will continue the search.

It started with a single dragon, and his gentle heart letting her stay as long as she wished. They grew to have a deep bond, and even having a nest together, but never actually becoming a mated couple. Then two, three. Soon, Setting-Sun found more dragons quickly joining his den and asking if they could join his clan. He, of course, agreeing and the nameless clan began. It was only a handful of dragons and with the roles easily distributed, all the dragons contributed to the clan and they were happy.

It was during a nightly meal time when one of the dragons asked what his name was, as he was always referred to as Lair Father(much to his dismay) When asked, Setting-Sun blinked and told them his name hesitantly, and one of the elder dragons, a recent recruit, scowled at the name, declaring how it didn't fit the Lair Father. It was meant as a suggestion, Setting-Sun asking if it would be okay if he was to earn his name, and the other dragons started talking excitedly. Earning their name?

"Of course, if you don't wish to, then you don't need to have a new name. It is simply an option that we could have." Setting-Sun reassured and the small group of dragons quickly agreed, eager to start anew. Naganori, one of the dragons suggested and everyone looked at Setting-Sun, testing the name as they chorused. Setting-Sun, now newly named as Naganori stood at the inner part of the den as the other dragons happily chattered about his new name.

Naganori fell into the role of Lair Father easily, even with the new dragons appearing every now and then. It wasn't until a Dragon with Plum Star scattered amongst his body caught his attention. Plum-Star would often be hunting with their Mirror pack, and something just clicked. He found himself watching the other dragon more often and struggled balancing watching his Charge along with being Lair Father. He found himself worrying even more about the Plum-Stars and he came to a decision after many moons. He would step down from Lair Father so he can spend his time making sure Plum-Star was safe.

Plum Star becoming the new Lair Father was simply amazing luck as Naganori would not have to worry about needing to split his time on protecting Plum Star and the Lair. He could do both with an easy mind. When the mantle of Lair Father was given to Plum-Star, now Solomon, Naganori
