Microlore: Growing up near his ill father and nestbrother, and watching another nestbrother consumed by what seemed to him a sickness, this dragon has felt it his solemn duty to study medicine. Specifically, he is drawn to pathology and autoimmune disorders, and he wants to alleviate the suffering of his family and those like them. In Oakrest, he has studied under the clan medic, Oddity, in hopes of better understanding pathology. However, where Oddity's approach has always been practical, this dragon seeks other routes as well. He wants to canvas as many venues as possible in hopes of finally solving the riddles he seeks.

In his spare time, he reads texts on the subject of diseases. Many suggest this isn't really relaxing, just a further extension of his work. Friends have tried to encourage him to find a hobby that's actually unrelated to work, but he is legitimately fascinated by medicine and healing over the ages. After being pressed by a close friend, he took up field botany for a time, but his friend declared him a lost cause when he started foraging for herbs to use in his practice. He imagines it's only a matter of time before the next round of hobby-seeking is foisted upon him. Until then, he has some excellent specimens of historical cure-alls.
