Warp 5
Clan Healer Protective · Quiet · Loyal · Temperamental Warp 5 was a bit of an oddity. A cotal born in the Snowsquall Tundra, about as far from his natural habitat as you could get. His parents had both been born and raised there and had never felt the urge to leave even to have children. While his siblings had never minded it Warp 5 hated the cold. He always found himself sitting in the sun or curled up next to fires trying to get warm. It was never enough. Eventually he got sick of it and left his home looking for a new clan. He wound up in the Shrieking Wilds where he met his mate Enterprise. She is a Botanist and the two spent their days wandering and gathering plant samples. Though the Wilds were certainly warm they were also humid and muggy and Enterprise could see that her mate was never quite comfortable. Eventually they made plans to travel to the Ashfall Waste and try to find a new clan there. |

That never quite happened. Just at the start of their trip, not far into the Sunbeam Ruins, they became separated. Enterprise had taken off her her own while Warp 5 was sleeping. She left a note saying she would be right back but after several hours he went searching for her. It took Warp 5 days to find his mate and when he did she was in the care of a clan living in the Hewn City. The clan leader Chel told him that one of their members found her badly injured not far from their den. No matter how many times he asked his mate flatly refused to talk about what had happened to her. After some time had passed and Enterprise had begun to heal he asked her if she was ready to move on but she avoided the subject for weeks. Whatever had happened had shaken her and after talking it over and speaking to Chel they were welcomed into the clan. It’s not quite the Ashfall Waste but Warp 5 is happy in his clan. He used his skills as a healer to keep the hunting party safe and this allows the clan to go to areas that were too dangerous before. When he’s not out with the hunting party or tending to other sick and injured members of the clan he still goes out into the field with Enterprise to gather herbs. As his medical practice grows he finds himself even more interested and uses many of the plants they gather in his medicines. During his free time he can usually be found napping in the sun. |
